On Saturday, August 23rd, the festival will feature an electrifying evening of Sufi Rock Qawali with Mekaal Hassan and Shehzad Ali Khan. Together, they will bring a unique blend of soulful traditions and contemporary energy to the stage, offering audiences a musical experience that bridges cultures and generations.

The excitement continues on Sunday, August 24th, with Rahim Shah, a legendary figure in South Asian music. Known for his soulful voice, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating stage presence, Rahim will take the audience on an emotional journey through his greatest hits and musical milestones. His performance will be a celebration of cultural heritage and artistic expression, a must-see for music lovers of all ages.

International Legends on Stage

Durham Summer Fest 2024 proudly showcased an unforgettable lineup of international stars, with two legendary performers gracing the stage: Ahmed Jahanzeb and Moazzam Ali Khan. These renowned artists captivated audiences with their extraordinary musical talents, delivering a dynamic blend of entertainment that elevated the entire festival experience.

On August 31st, Ahmed Jahanzeb, one of Pakistan’s most beloved music icons, performed live in concert with his entire band, delivering an electrifying show that resonated with fans of all ages. Jahanzeb’s unique fusion of classical and contemporary music made his performance a standout at the festival.

On September 1st, Moazzam Ali Khan, the maestro of Ghazal music, honored the legendary Jagjit Singh with a special Ghazal Night performance. Khan’s soulful voice and emotional renditions of classical Ghazals left a lasting impression, transporting the audience into a world of musical elegance.
